Oklahoma City, OK - Feb 14-18.

This year the WATC (World Association of Tackle Collectors) will once again have a booth at the Oklahoma Tackle Show in Oklahoma City, OK Feb. 14-18, 2008.  The WATC is the only tackle collecting club that has ever had a booth at the show and, due to the popularity of the booth last year, will have a larger booth this year.  While the show is mainly a retail show for modern day fishing tackle, the WATC will have displays of some vintage tackle as well having some vintage, and not so vintage, tackle for sale.  Club members will also be there to answer any and, hopefully, all questions about tackle collecting in general and to give appraisals on any tackle brought in for appraisal.  If anyone is in the area drop by and say HELLO.  We are always ready and willing to talk tackle and fishing.

Rochester, MN - August 23, 2008

The 2nd Annual Rochester Fishing Tackle Show and Swap Meet will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, 1517 16th Street SW, Rochester, MN.  Room trading on Thursday and Friday.  The show is being held at a new location this year!  Hotel has three floors for convenient in-room trading and ample, flat lot parking.  Hotel is located off Highway 52.  Simply exit at 16th Street Southwest, take a left and go one block.  Take a right onto Greenview Drive.  Hotel is on the right.  If flying in, hotel is approximately 80 miles southeast of the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport and 8 miles from the Rochester International Airport.  Driving directions also available on show web site.  

Show hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Show set-up opens at 7:00 a.m.  The show will be heavily advertised and is open to the public.  We will hold silent auctions on the day of the show.  Tables are $25 and include registration.  No limit on tables.  Show and tell tables are also available.  Registration without a table is $5.  Send payment and make checks payable to show host Marie Munson, P.O.
