This 350 page soft cover reference book is a must for collectors of reels manufactured by the Enterprise Manufacturing Company. Their products include the popular Pflueger Reels, as well as Four Brothers, Portage, and unmarked "trade" reels.

Bob Miller does a great job of presenting this material in an understandable fashion. The book contains all known patents assigned to, or obtained by Enterprise. Each mechanism is described and referenced to the original patent drawings. Accompanying each patent is a list of Pflueger reels that bore that Patent. There is also a complete listing of all Pflueger reels manufactured prior to 1941 with patent numbers that applied to those reels. This list alone is worth the price of the book.
