Miscellaneous Fishing
Stuff:
The auction that really surprised me was the sale of a Mitchell 300
display reel. This reel was made of wood and was 24"long and 34" high
on a stand. It had an electric motor to turn the crank that was
apparently not functioning. This item was believed to be the only one
left of three made. It brought $953. I expected that this would be the
epitome of a Mitchell collection, but interest was only luke warm.
