eBay Report - May 2006
I guess lure collectors took time out to get their breath after
Lang's terrific lure auction, but reel and rod collectors were hard at
it.
Reels:
There were several
nice NY style reels, with a George Karr ball handle in VG reaching
$1025. It was described as a brass "prototype", but sure looked German
silver in the photos. It is shown to the right. A Conroy brass ball
handle reel that was 1-7/8" wide and VG sold for $1725.
There were lots of interesting reels from the UK this month,

nickel plated brass example in EX brought $545.50. A Pflueger Medalist
