BRINGS OUT SOME COOL SPINNING REELS !!
Featured reels were some neat early

Listed as a rare prototype was a Walter Stanley
Pre-Production in like new condition that sold @$562.00. An
interesting reel that was listed as a Rare Egg whisk ( uk-english for
egg beater) was unmarked in exc- condition. Unfortunately it was
removed by the seller B/4 the auction ended ???
Not one but two of the same reels were listed.
one was listed as a 
slip
caster threadline that is very similar to the early Stanley reels. the
only marking on the reel is Pat. Pend. on the foot. the seller from
the UK said that he found it in his attic. it was E+WB and sold @
$208.61
The other reel was offered from a seller in
France it was Exc+ with NO BOX and sold @$ 276.99. This example is
shown to the right. Not much is known about who made these but one
also sold last month @$261.00.
